The stage is set for inauguration of the 4th edition of SJAID (St. John’s All India debate) at St. John’s High School on 24th August. The mega event will witness the august presence of Hon’ble Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia (Punjab & Haryana High Court) as the Chief guest, Dr. Sandeep Goyal as the patron and Guest of Honour and other luminaries as judges for the various rounds. It is a two day event concluding on 25th August, 2023.
The event will see conventional debating, audio visual prompts and turncoat debating.
The theme chosen is, “Promoting partnership and inspiring transformational leadership among youth”.
Teams from prestigious schools like Welham Boys (Dehradun), St. Columba's (Delhi), La Martiniere Girls (Lucknow), St. Joseph's (Nainital), Cathedral and John Connon (Mumbai) among others. The winning team will take home a mega prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. The runners up team will bag Rs. 25000 . There are also other individual prizes to be won.
