ACCUSED COMMITTED CRIME TO EARN EASY MONEY

In continuation of further investigation in case FIR No. 582/23 dated 28.07.23 u/s 188 IPC & 5/15 Environment Protection Act PS-Welcome, Delhi wherein a person namely Imran @ Harun, an active seller was arrested and 33 rolls of Chinese manjha were recovered from his possession.Team AATS/North-East District has arrested a dealer namely Nizam S/o Islamuddin R/o Janta Colony, Welcome, Delhi Age- 42 years, and recovered 422 Rolls of deadly Chinese Manjha. He used to commit crime to earn easy money.
(SUBHEAD)To curb the unfortunate incidents resultant to Chinese manjha in which some residents of Delhi lost their lives, team AATS was tasked to trace active dealers of ‘Chinese Manjha’ in the area of North East District. In pursuance, on 28.07.2023, a person namely Imran @ Harun was arrested vide FIR No. 582/23 dated 28.07.23 u/s 188 IPC & 5/15 Environment Protection Act PS-Welcome, Delhi and 33 rolls of Chinese manjha was recovered from his possession.
Dr. Joy Tirkey, IPS, DCP, North East Distt, said, on sustained interrogation, he revealed the name of his source of supply.On his instance, team AATS/NED comprising Inspr. Vinod Ahlawat, SI Vishal Tyagi, HC Sonu Baisla, HC Deepak, Ct. Rahul & Ct.Saudanunder under the supervision of ACP/Operations/NED conducted a raid on 29.07.23 and arrested a person Nizam S/o Islamuddin R/o Janta Colony, Welcome, Delhi Age- 42 years, 422 Rolls of deadly Chinese Manjha were recovered from his possession.
His further source of supply of Chinese Manjhaare being ascertained. Further, investigation of the case is in progress.
