ROBBED GOLD & SILVER JEWELLERY ALONG WITH CASH RECOVERED, FIVE DESPERATE ROBBERS ARRESTED, ONE ACCUSED IS FACING TRIAL FOR THE MURDER OF A DELHI POLICE CONSTABLE IN 2018, 3 COUNTRY MADE PISTOLS AND ONE DESI KATTA ALONG WITH 8 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED, TWO SCOOTIES USED IN CRIME ALSO RECOVERED

Special Staff, Outer District has done a stupendous work by arresting five desperate robbers who committed a robbery in a Jewellery showroom in Nangloi area on 04.04.2023, wherein gold & silver jewellery along with cash were robbed by four persons on gun point. Staff recovered the robbed jewellery along with cash within 48 hours of the incident.
Three country made pistols and one desi katta along with 8 live cartridges and two scooties used in the crime also recovered. One accused is facing a trial for the murder of a Delhi Police constable in the year 2018 in PS Shahbad Dairy.
On 04.04.2023 a robbery incident was reported in the area of PS Nangloi wherein it was reported that gold & silver jewellery articles along with cash were robbed by four persons on gun point in a Jewellery showroom.
A case vide FIR No. 292/23 dated 04.04.2023 U/Sec 392/397/34 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Nangloi, Outer District, Delhi. Considering the gravity of the crime, investigation was taken up immediately and staff started exploring all the avenues to nab the criminals.As a result, all the four accused persons involved in the robbery were identified within 4 hours of the incident.
(SUBHEAD)(MOREPIC1)On 06.04.2023, a secret information regarding one of the accused Paramjeet @ Pata involved in the jewellery shop robbery case was received. On receipt of the information, a dedicated team consisting SI Pardeep Kumar, ASI Manoj Kumar, ASI Raj Kumar No 5116/OD, HC Navin No.3101/OD, HC Nemi Chand No. 2409/OD, HC Sunil Kumar No. 2058/OD, HC Dinesh Kumar No. 2063/OD, HC Amit Kumar No. 2395/OD, HC Vikas No. 1444/OD, CT. Nittu No. 1637/OD, Ct. Sahil No. 1855/OD led by Inspector Parveen Kumar, Special Staff and Sh. Arun Kumar, ACP/Operations was constituted.
As per the information, the team reached near main Rohtak Road, Mundka, Delhi and a trap was laid to nab the criminals. After some time, three persons were sighted coming on a scooty from Tikri border towards Peera Garhi.
The staff acted swiftly and after a long chase the scooty was intercepted and all three persons were apprehended. On enquiry, the three persons were identified as 1.) Nitesh S/o Hawa Singh R/o Ward No.9, Balmiki Mohalla, Jhajjar Road, Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana, Age 26 yrs, 2.) Paramjeet @ Pata S/o Subash R/o Ward No.9, Balmiki Mohalla, Jhajjar Road, Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana Age 26 yrs, 3.) Abhishek @ Abhi S/o Mukesh R/o Ward No.9, Balmiki Mohalla, Jhajjar Road, Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana, Age 22 yrs.
After that personal search of the accused Paramjeet @ Pata was made and one country made pistol loaded with one live cartridge along with a small hand purse marked with Om Prakash Jewelers was recovered from his possession. On checking the purse, gold jewellery robbed from Nangloi jewellery shop was found inside the hand purse.
On weighing total 258.500 gm gold articles were recovered from him. During the personal search of accused Abishek @ Abhi, one country made pistol loaded with one live cartridge along with a small hand purse of Om Prakash jewellers was recovered from his possession. On checking silver jewellery robbed from Nangloi jewellery shop was found inside the hand purse. On weighing total 110 gm silver articles were recovered from him.
After that personal search of the accused Nitesh was made and three live cartridges along with cash amount of Rs. 28000/- were recovered from his possession. On interrogation, the cash was found to be robbed from the Nangloi jewellery shop. The scooty TVS N-Tourq bearing No. HR 95 A 7512, recovered from the criminals was found to be the same that was used by the accused persons for committing the robbery in Nangloi. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 307/2023 dated 06.04.23 U/s 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Mundka against all the accused persons and the accused persons were arrested.
Mr. Harendra Singh, IPS, DCP, Outer district, said, during further investigation, another scooty used in the crime was recovered from main Rohtak Road, Tikri Border, on the instance of accused Nitesh. During further investigation, two more accused persons namely Raunak S/o Devender R/o Ward No. 9, Balmiki Mohalla, Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana, Age 24 yrs and Rajat S/o Siddarth R/o Ward no. 9, Balmiki Mohalla, Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana, Age 23 yrs have been arrested in the case and one Desi katta with one live cartridge recovered from the possession of accused Raunak and one country made pistol along with two live cartridges recovered from the possession of accused Rajat. The recovered three country made pistols, one Desi katta, eight live cartridge, two Scooties and robbed jewellery along with cash amount of Rs. 28000/- were seized in the case. .
During sustained interrogation, the accused Paramjeet @ Pata disclosed that he along with his associate namely Rounak and Rajat both R/o Balmiki Mohalla, Sampla, Haryana and Ballu @ Bablu R/o Village Samchana, Haryana, hatched a conspiracy to rob the jewellery shop in Nangloi area. Accused Rajat is working as a sweeper in Nangloi area and he identified the jewellery shop namely OmPrakash Jewellars in Nangloi area to execute the robbery as this shop was not having any armed guard. Accused Rajat and Babllu arranged two country made pistols(Desi Katta), one pistol and one revolver used to threaten the shopkeepers. The four accused persons came on two Scooties and executed their plan and robbed gold/silver jewellery and a cash from the shop. After the robbery, they divided their share and ran away. Accused gave Rs. 30000/- to co-accused Nitesh for his scooty and also gave silver jewellery to other accused Abhishek @Abhi as he was involved in their plan and he took the jewellery in lieu of not disclosing the incident to anyone.

Accused Nitesh is also involved in a murder case in FIR No. 654/2018 dated 29.11.2018 U/s 302 IPC, PS Shahabad Diary, Delhi wherein one Constable namely Ct. Dinesh Kumar, posted in Traffic was brutally murdered by accused Nitesh along with his four associates. All five accused persons are running on court bail. The case is pending trial at the stage of examination of witnesses before the Hon'ble Court.
