AWWA SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND CELEBRATES “HER HUNAR”

The Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) Sapta Shakti Command on Sunday organised an exhibition “Her Hunar” by the Army Wives entrepreneurs at Peelwa Garden 1 Townsend Kitchen Jaipur.

The event was inaugurated by Mrs Shakunthala Raju, Regional President AWWA Sapta Shakti Command with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.

18 Army Wives entrepreneurs participated with their wide-ranging products to include Eateries, Jewelry, Art, Craft, Designer Clothes, Herbal Holi colours, Decorative items, Draperies, VTC products and also items prepared by Asha School children.(SUBHEAD)

The participants namely were Oriki, House Warming by Geeta, Olive world by Tessy John, Pahel by Meghna, Ananthurza by Neilam Singh, Desert Dust, Deipti Paints N Prints, Curls & Blossoms by Swati, Neelofar, Meena Gupta Gurukripa foods and products, Virtuous Organic: Chhavi, Jaipur Rang: Sheetal Sobti, Twigs India by Dr A Sharma, Mrs Shubha Sharma: Olive Odhani, VTC, Asha school, Gulabi Dori and Taarya by Tanya.

The event was supported by ‘Community of Dreamers’, a group of entrepreneurs who also placed their stalls to add glitter to the event. Townsend Kitchen reflected the true spirit of its association with Armed forces by offering free of cost space for exhibition. Dr. Vijay Singh Peelwa the owner of Townsend Kitchen is son of World War -II veteran of Jaipur State Forces Lt Colonel Gulab Singh, who served as the first Commanding Officer of 17th Raj Rifles after merger of State Forces in India Army.
