WITH THE ARREST OF FOUR DREADED CRIMINALS, SENSATIONAL BLIND MURDER CASE OF PS BABA HARIDAS NAGAR, DELHI WORKED OUT BY WR-II, CRIME BRANCH, DECEASED HAD AN AFFAIR WITH THE SISTER OF THE MAIN ACCUSED, ACCUSED PERSONS HAD SMASHED & DISFIGURED THE FACE OF THE DECEASED SO THAT DEAD BODY COULD NOT BE IDENTIFIED.

A team of WR-II, Crime Branch, on the basis of technical investigation and field work, has arrested four accused persons namely Himanshu Dagar, 20 years, r/o Gopal Nagar, Delhi; Dheeraj Toor, 21 years, r/o Near Shiv Mandir, Village Dipalpur, Sonipat, Haryana; Anshul Antil, 20 years, r/o village Dipalpur, Sonipat, and Sahil, 21 years, r/o Village Chauhan-Joshi, Sonipat, from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh and solved the blind murder of one Bunty @ Vicky, 23 years, s/o Mukesh Kumar r/o Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi.
The accused persons had brutally killed the deceased Bunty in the fields of Village Mitrau, in the area of PS Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi.
On 04.02.23, a PCR call was received in PS Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi that some person was lying injured & unconscious in the fields of Village Mitrau and blood was oozing out of the head of the person.
The local police reached the scene of crime and the injured person was shifted to Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital, where doctor declared him brought dead.
(SUBHEAD)There were multiple injuries on the head of the deceased and his face was smashed with some heavy object. The deceased could not be identified. Empty liquor bottles, glasses, stones with iron rods, medicines were also found at the scene of crime. A murder case vide FIR No. 58/2023 dated 05.02.23 u/s 302 IPC was registered at PS Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi against unknown persons.
Sensing the gravity, brutality, sensitivity and nature of the crime, a team of WR-II, Crime Branch led by Insp Manoj Dahiya and Insp Gurmeet Singh, comprising of SI Satyender Singh, SI Anuj Chhikara, HC Ravinder Singh, HC Jitender, HC Devender, HC Dinesh, HC Mayank and HC Bhawar under the close supervision of Sh. Yashpal Singh, ACP/WR-II and overall guidance of Sh. Satish Kumar, DCP/Crime-IV was constituted by Sh. S.D. Mishra, Jt. CP/Crime to identify the deceased and nab the accused persons.
On the basis of technical investigation done by HC Ravinder, and field work done by HC Devender and HC Jitender the team of WR-II developed the clue in the blind case and cracked the case.
OPERATION : Secret informers were deputed to identify the deceased. The face of the deceased was disfigured and smashed with stones. As there were empty liquor bottles, glasses etc. found at the place of occurrence, thus, it was clear that the deceased was known to the accused persons.
Mr. Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime, said, technical as well as discreet enquiry was conducted in the matter was made. On the basis of CCTV footage of the surrounding area, the deceased was seen with four people. The deceased was also seen at the liquor shop near Dhansa Stand.
On the basis of local intelligence, the deceased was identified as one Bunty, 23 years, r/o Gopal Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi, with the help of a tattoo on his forearm. He was previously found involved in cases of theft. His dossier was also verified and his identity was established.
Subsequently, it was revealed that the deceased had gone with some persons to drink alcohol. From technical enquiry, the identity of the accused persons was established as Himanshu Dagar, Dheeraj Toor, Anshul Antil and Sahil.
On the basis of technical surveillance, the team laid a trap in Haridwar but the accused persons were not found there. The team checked CCTV cameras there and it was found the accused had shifted from there.
On further technical surveillance, the team has gone to Garh Ganga, Hapur, UP and laid a trap and nabbed all the four accused persons from there.
MOTIVE BEHIND MURDER: The deceased Bunty was friend of the accused persons and the main accused Himanshu’s sister had an affair with the deceased Bunty. Himanshu did not like this and he wanted to terminate this relation once for all. Himanshu had maternal uncle at Dipalpur Village, Sonipat, Haryana and he has been living there of few years. Dheeraj and Anshul are of the same village i.e. Dipalpur and Sahil is from neighborhood village.
The accused persons made a fool proof plan to eliminate Bunty without getting caught. For this purpose, on 02.02.23, Himanshu sold his mobile phone for Rs. 7000 and destroyed his SIM card.
On 03.02.23, all the four accused persons left for Najafgarh, Delhi on the motor cycle of Sahil. But on that night, Bunty did not pick their call as it was late in the night. The accused also called Amit, brother of deceased Bunty. But he also did not pick their call. Thereafter, the accused persons went to their friend named Gaurav @ Gora r/o Ghubhana, Badli, Haryana and stayed there at his house on the intervening night of 03-04/02/23.
On the day of incident i.e. 04.02.23, the accused persons took the M/cycle of their friend Gaurav @ Gora and went to Najafgarh. Dheeraj and Sahil also sold their mobile phones at Balaji Telecom at Najafgarh for Rs. 12000/- and destroyed their SIM cards so that they could not be traced. At around 07:30 PM, they borrowed the mobile phone of one tea seller, and called the deceased Bunty.
They lured the deceased to a session of drinking alcohol. All of them were on the same M/Cycle and they purchased liquor from Dhansa Border. Then, they went to the fields in Mitrau area and started drinking liquor. After some time, as per plan, they picked-up an argument and quarrel with the deceased and killed him with the stones.
They stabbed the deceased with the broken bottle of liquor. They smashed the face of the deceased in order to disfigure his face so that the dead body could not be identified. After killing him, they checked his mobile phone and read his messages to confirm regarding his girlfriend. They left the spot and threw the mobile phone of the deceased at Surhera Mor and reached Panipat, Haryana.
The M/Cycle was parked at Gulshan Dhaba and they took a bus and reached Haridwar with the belief that they could wash their sins and their crime would remain undetected. After taking bath at Haridwar, they came back to Dipalpur, Sonipat, Haryana in the evening of 05.02.23. They had dinner at Gulshan Dhaba and left for Garh Ganga, Hapur, UP and from there, they were nabbed by the team. They were changing their locations frequently prior to their arrest.
