BEE MANBIR SINGH GETS MASTER TRAINER CERTIFICATE

Under the Care Companion program, a two-day training program was organized to make Block Extension Educators (BEE) of the Health Department Master Trainers so that the program can be implemented in the field in a better manner. 

BEE Manbir Singh of Block CHC Chak Sherewala said that the Care Companion program is being run by the Health Department with the support of Noora Health and YosAid Innovation Foundation, it’s aim is to help the patient and also make the accompanying close relative aware about health. 

During the training, 30 participants of the first batch of BEEs were briefed about the purpose, benefits, methods of implementing the program in the field and their role by the Noora Health team. 

State Nodal officer Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the main objective of the program was to enable the family members of the patient to take proper care of the patient on returning home. The general public is guided about good lifestyle and the patient's family members about proper diet of the patient and how to recognize the warning signs of diseases. 

Director National Health Mission Dr. SP Singh and others gave Master Trainer certificates to the participants. Media Wing of Director Office and BEE Jagjiwan Sharma assured that the program will be implemented in the field with full diligence. Manbir Singh was among the receipts of Master Trainer Certificates.
