A team of ER-II Crime Branch showed high sense of responsibility by arresting three persons namely (1) Noor Mohmmad @ Babloo, 39 years, R/o Vill. Patrahi Khurd, Distt. Saran, Bihar, (2) Ujjwal Kumar, 23 years R/o Kharida, Distt.-Saran, Bihar and (3) Ms. Laxmi Singh, 25 years, R/o Morakordoiguri Kachari Gaon, Sariahjan, Distt. Karbi Anglong, Assam, while they were going to deliver the consignment of Ganja in an Innova car to one Raakal @ Azad. A total of 72.2 Kg Ganja was recovered from them.
Further, the drug peddler Azad @ Raakal, 38 years, R/o New Seemapuri, Delhi was also arrested and 22.795 Kg ganja was recovered from his possession also.

The incessant efforts of the team yielded result when a tip off was received to the team of Inspr. Ashish Dahima about supply of a consignment of Ganja procured from Vishakhapattnam, Andhra Pradesh which was going to be delivered to Delhi.(SUBHEAD)
A team comprising of SI Monu Chauhan, ASI Rambir, HC Mohit, HC Prince, HC Rajiv, and W/HC Pooja was constituted under the supervision Inspr. Ashish Dahima and under the close supervision of Sh. Raj Kumar Saha, ACP/ER-II, Crime Branch, was constituted by Sh. Satish Kumar, DCP/Crime.
On the basis of information, a trap was laid near J&K Pocket, Dilshad Garden, Delhi. An Andra Pradesh registered Innova car coming from Apsara Border towards Seemapuri was noticed & intercepted by the team. Two male and one female were sitting there in the car. Identity of driver of the car was revealed as one Noor Mohmmad R/o Vill. Patrahi Khurd, Distt. Saran, Bihar. One lady namely Ms. Laxmi Singh R/o Vill. Morakordoiguri Kachari Gaon, Sariahjan, Distt. Karbi Anglong, Assam was sitting on co-driver seat and one Ujjwal Kumar R/o Kharida, Distt. Saran, Bihar was sitting in the middle row seat of the car.
Mr. Ravinder Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime, said, during the search of the car, a total of 72.2 Kg ganja in five plastic sacks was recovered. On sustained interrogation, accused persons Noor Mohmmad @ Babloo, Ujjwal Kumar, Ms. Laxmi Singh disclosed that they had purchased the ganja from Vishakhapttnam, Andhra Pradesh and were going to supply the same to one Azad @ Raakal r/o New Seemapuri. At the instance of accused persons, the alleged Azad @ Raakal R/o New Seemapuri, Delhi was also arrested and subsequently 22.795 Kg Ganja was recovered from his residence.
MODUS OPERANDI: Accused Noor Mohmmad @ Baloo, Ujjwal Kumar, Ms. Laxmi Singh used to procure Marijuana from Vishakhapttnam, Andhra Pradesh in bulk and delivered the same to Azad @ Raakal, who further sale the alleged ganja in small pouches.
While transporting the Ganja from Andra Pradesh to Delhi the lady accused used to sit on the co-driver seat and pretend like a family. On seeing the lady in the car, the Police/investigating agencies didn’t have suspicion on them.
Recovery: 94.995 Kg Ganja, One Innova car.

Saran, Bihar has not been arrested earlier., Ms. Laxmi Singh, 25 years, R/o Morakordoiguri Kachari Gaon, Sariahjan, Distt. Karbi Anglong, Assam has not been arrested earlier., zad @ Raakal R/o New Seemapuri, Delhi. Age 38 Years is History Sheeter of PS Seemapuri, Distt. Shahdara, Delhi and previously involved in 17 cases.
