A team of the Police officials of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Dwarka District, led by Insp. Subhash Chand, I/c Anti-Narcotics Cell, comprising HC Gopal, HC Ashwani, HC Dinesh, HC Hetram, HC Sushil, HC Sandeep, HC Ajay, W/HC Sonu, and Ct Mukesh under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, has done a commendable job by arresting one foreign national drug peddlers and 1.823 kg of fine-quality Heroin and 02 mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
The staff of Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka is tasked to develop intelligence and information regarding the drug traffickers, who are indulged in drugs trafficking in Dwarka.
On 20/11/2022, secret information was received by the team regarding one foreigner namely Chibuzo who is indulged in trafficking of heroin and is currently residing at Plot No. 5C Flat No. 203 B-Block Hastsal vihar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi.(SUBHEAD)
On this the information was verified by the team. As per the version of the information, the raiding team reached the location and entered in the premises through the gate, and an African national came and saw through the net of iron door and when staff introduced themselves as police, he refused to open the door and run inside the room. However the team entered into the room and got succeeded in apprehension of African national.
Mr. M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, Dwarka Distt., said, on interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Chibuzo Peter Ofenedu R/o IMO State, Umunna Nigeria, Age 35 years. During search, white colour polythene containing cream colour substance was recovered from his possession, which upon checking with the Field testing Kit, was found to be heroin, weighing 1.823 kg. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 727/22 dated 21/11/22 U/s 8/21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Uttam Nagar.
RECOVERY: 1.823 kg of fine-quality heroin., 02 mobile phones.
