ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (P.O) SURAJ YADAV WHO HAD REWARD OF RS 20,000 ON HIS HEAD IS ARRESTED FROM JAMUI DISTT BIHAR.

With the arrest of a PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (P.O) Suraj Yadav s/o Ganga Yadav r/o Village Khareek, PO Chakrapatthar, PS Sono (Chowki Charkapatthar), Distt. Jamui, Bihar-811314, age 35 years, the Southern Range of Crime Branch worked out a sensational day light Robbery case of P S Kirti Nagar in which a lady namely Ms Shiwender Kalsi w/o Sh Rajender Kalsi R/O C 12 Kirti Nagar N. Delhi was Robbed and worked out a case of robbery which was registered vide FIR No 90/13 u/s 394/397/34 IPC P.S Kirti Nagar, West Distt, Delhi.
(MOREPIC1) On International day for women ie. 8th March 2013, complainant Ms Shiwender Kalsi W/o Sh Rajender Kalsi R/O C-12 Kirti Nagar was alone at her home. Suddenly her domestic help Suraj Yadav entered in her room with his associates and threatened the complainant with a knife. The assailants beat the complainant and then tied her and threw her in a room. Her jewellery and cash was robbed by all the accused person. In this regard a A case vide FIR No 90/13 u/s 394/397/34 IPC was registered in this regard.
Search of accused person were made. But accused person evading their arrest and absconded. All were declared PO. In 2018 reward of 20 thousand each was announced by police on the arrest of all four accused person. The accused persons were all residents of Jamui in Bihar a Nexlite affected District. Police made sincere efforts to nab the accused person but could not succeed .
Mr. Rajesh Deo, IPS, DCP, Crime-1, said, on 30/10/2022, an information was received at Crime SR that all the accused persons, who are absconding till now, will come to their village for celebrating Chhath Pooja and if a raid is conducted on time, accused persons could be apprehended from their village only.
Hence, without wasting any time, a team consisting S.I Yogesh Kumar, ASI Rajesh Kumar, ASI Viju Mon, HC Arvind, Ct Abhay Pathak, Ct Vipin and Ct Karanvir under leadership of Inspr Vijay Pal Dahiya and overall supervison of ACP Naresh Solanki was formed. The team of Southern Range was sent to the Jamui.
Further, after developing intelligence at the local level and with the help of local police, a raid was conducted at Khareek Village of Jamui District at the midnight of 31/10/22 & 01/11/22 and one accused person namely Suraj Yadav s/o Ganga Yadav r/o Village Khareek PO Chakrapatthar, Police Outpost / Chowki Chakrapatthar, PS Sono, Distt. Jamui, Bihar-811314, Age- 35 years was apprehended and his identity was established after which he was arrested in the ccase It is noteworthy to mention that due to Naxilism conducting raid was extremely difficult, local Police provided an Armoured vehicle for conducting the raid.
During investigation he disclosed that after the incident, he along with his associate had fled from the spot with looted items and spent it. Subsequently they went to Pune they use to drive vehicle on rent for 7 years.
With the arrest of a PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (P.O) Suraj Yadav s/o Ganga Yadav r/o Village Khareek, PO Chakrapatthar, PS Sono (Chowki Charkapatthar), Distt. Jamui, Bihar-811314, age 35 years a case of Robbery which was registered in 2013 has been solved.
