ACCUSED USED TO CREATE FAKE FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS BY USING THE VICTIM’s NAME & PHOTOGRAPHS., POSTED MORPHED PICTURES OF VICTIM WITH OBJECTIONABLE DESCRIPTION ON FAKE ACCOUNTS. ONE MOBILE PHONE ALONG WITH SIM CARD BEING USED IN THE COMMISSION OF CRIME RECOVERED.

A complaint regarding creation of fake facebook profile by using the name of the lady complainant and her photos with obscene description was received at PS Cyber Police Station, Dwarka. She further alleged that this unknown accused is sending requests & morphed pictures to her family members also. Further, she stated that person has also posted her mobile number. As per the version of the complainant a case vide FIR No. dated 07/07/2022 U/s 354(D)/292 was registered at Cyber PS Dwarka.
A team lead by Insp. Jagdish Kumar, SHO/Cyber Dwarka and comprising Insp. Sudhir, W/SI Nikita, ASI Mukesh, and HC Vikas under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar ACP/Ops Dwarka was constituted to solve the case at the earliest and nab the accused person.(SUBHEAD)
During the investigation, details of fake facebook account were obtained and as per technical analysis several leads were received. Thereafter, on the basis of technical analysis, the team raided in Etah, U.P, and apprehended the accused person.
Mr. M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, Dwarka Distt., said, during interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Sudheer Kumar @ Tittu R/o Mahmood Ganj, Etah, U.P, Age 26 years. He also disclosed that he works in a private company in Ghaziabad. Further, he stated that some time ago he got engaged with the victim but due to some reasons the engagement broke up. In order to take revenge, he created fake Facebook accounts using her name & photos and uploaded them.
RECOVERY: One smart phones used in the commission of crime with one sim card.
