ARMY AND BSF ORGANISED CONFERENCE AT HEADQUARTERS OF WESTERN COMMAND

The Army and Border Security Force (BSF) Annual Synergy Conference was held at Headquarters Western Command on Saturday. It was attended by senior Officers of Indian Army Western Command & senior officers of Border Security Force from BSF Western Command .

The conference was jointly presided over by Lieutenant General Nav K Khanduri , AVSM , VSM , General Officer Commanding – in – Chief , Western Command and Shri PV Ramasastry , IPS , Special DG Western Command, BSF.

(SUBHEAD)Common issues of operational preparedness, joint training and contemporary challenges of border management were actively deliberated upon. Both the forces shared best practices and evolved a common understanding and plan to mitigate threats to national security .

The spirit of integration and cooperation amongst all stakeholders is the most important facet of the prevailing national security dynamics and this conference was a proactive step by both forces towards attaining the objective . Army and BSF pledged to work shoulder to shoulder for a common purpose of defending our borders.
