REUNION: THE MAN HANDED TO FAMILY WAS MISSING SINCE SIX YEARS

A person namely Goniyappa S/o Late Hanumanthapa R/o Uppanayakanahalli, Distt- Ballari, Karnataka was apprehended on 07.08.22 near border area by BSF person.
Spokesperson from Punjab Frontier BSF Headquarter said, during JIC it was revealed that he is partially feeble minded, non-coherent in reply and not oriented with the surroundings and was inadvertently roaming near the Border.
He was missing from his home since 6 years. Due to concerted efforts of BSF and Punjab police his family was traced in Karnataka and he was finally handed over to his family members on 22 Aug 22 who came with Karnataka Police.
