Police reported to have 5 persons from different places while drinking on public places and creating nonsense. All the accused granted bail.
Police said, Case FIR No. 64 u/s 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act, 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station-03 against Raj Kumar R/o Village Kaimbwala. The accused was apprehended near the wine shop at Kaimbwala on 11-07-2025 at about 10:00 PM for drinking and creating nuisance at a public place.
A Case FIR No. 106 u/s 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act, 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station-11 against Naresh Kumar R/o Naya Gaon (PB). The accused was arrested on 12-07-2025 at about 06:50 PM from the backside of Shop No. 24, Sector 11, Chandigarh, for drinking and creating nuisance at a public place.
A Case FIR No. 107 u/s 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act, 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station-11 against Kuldeep Singh R/o Naya Gaon. He was arrested on 12-07-2025 at about 08:10 PM near the wine shop, Sector 11, Chandigarh, for public drinking and creating nuisance.
A Case FIR No. 108 u/s 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act, 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station-17 against Rajesh Kumar R/o Sector-25, Chandigarh. The accused was found drinking and creating nuisance near SCO No. 820, Sector 22/A, Chandigarh on 12-07-2025 at about 09:30 PM.
A Case FIR No. 59 u/s 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act, 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station-IT Park against Umesh R/o Kishangarh, Chandigarh. He was found drinking and creating nuisance behind Airtel Building, IT Park on 12-07-2025 at 10:15 PM.
