The death sentence has been given to Heera Lal alias Guddu, who on January 19, 2024 raped and brutally murdered an 8-year-old girl from Hallomajra.
(SUBHEAD)The incident took place when the girl had gone out to buy goods from a nearby shop, but did not return. On the complaint of the family, the police swung into action and during the search of a neighboring house, a blood-stained quilt and a knife were recovered, while the accused had fled from the spot. Two days later, the girl's body was found in the forest near Ram Darbar, which caused a sensation in the entire area.

In the verdict, the court said that this crime is one of the most inhuman and disgusting forms of humanity and it has no place in society.
