CHIEF SECRETARY UT FELICITATES MERITORIOUS WARDS OF CITCO EMPLOYEES IN A GRAND CEREMONY

CITCO organized a felicitation ceremony today at the Ballroom, Hotel Mountview, to honour the wards of its employees who appeared in the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations. The highlight of the event was Ms. Srishti Sharma, the national topper who scored a perfect 500/500, securing the first position across the country. Srishti is the daughter of a CITCO employee who serves as a Junior Salesman, and her achievement brought immense pride not only to CITCO but to the entire nation.

A total of 25 students, wards of CITCO employees, who appeared in the board exams, attended the event along with their proud parents.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr. Rajeev Verma, IAS, Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh Administration, accompanied by Mrs. Rachna Verma. They graced the occasion with their presence and personally handed over trophies and certificates to all the meritorious students. Also present were Mr. Hari Kallikkat, IAS, Managing Director, CITCO, Mr. Paviter Singh, PCS, Chief General Manager, CITCO, along with members of the CITCO management.

The students were felicitated with trophies, certificates, and a gala lunch to celebrate their remarkable achievements. A vibrant cultural program, presented by CITCO employees, added colour to the occasion.

The Managing Director, Mr. Hari Kallikkat, IAS, spent over an hour engaging in one-on-one interactions with the students, listening to their stories and sharing words of encouragement. His interaction deeply inspired the young achievers.

In his address, the Chief guest Shri Rajeev Verma , “The success of these students is a reflection of their hard work and the support of their families. At CITCO, we are proud to celebrate not just our employees but also their children, who are the torchbearers of our future, he further congratulated all the children who scored good scores in their respective examination and encouraged them to perform even better in the future endeavours.
