UT CHANDIGARH ESTATE OFFICE ISSUES NOTICES FOR RECOVERY OF DUES.

The Estate Office, UT Chandigarh, has issued demand notices for the recovery of cost of construction of booths/shops located in various Motor Markets and Rehri Markets. These properties were allotted by the Estate Office and constructed by the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB), with the construction cost to be borne by the allottees/lessees.

It has been observed that the construction cost remains unpaid in approximately 700 such booths. The Estate Officer, UT Chandigarh, consequently, directed such lesees to clear the outstanding dues within 30 days from the date of issuance of the demand notice.

Failure to comply within the stipulated period will lead to the initiation of cancellation proceedings against the defaulters.

All concerned are urged to make the necessary payments to avoid any further action, including cancellation of the lease allotment.
