In connection with the murder of a female constable of Chandigarh police in Mata Mansa Devi area of Panchkula, a team of Crime Branch 26 has arrested Parminder, husband of the deceased female constable, who is working as a constable in the army.
A few days ago, the body of Chandigarh police female constable Sapna was found inside a car in Mata Mansa Devi police station area. Crime Branch 26 in-charge Mandeep Dhanda and his team have arrested her husband from Ambala on March 15. Police have not yet revealed the motive behind the murder.
Female constable Sapna was working in Chandigarh police and she was found dead in the back seat of the car in a suspicious condition in the police station area and the key of the car was also missing.
It was revealed that the woman died of injuries to the back of the head.
The deceased woman constable Sapna's husband Parminder, who is working as a constable in the Western Command Army Area of Panchkula has been arrested. Crime Branch 26 in-charge Mandeep Dhanda said that the accused has been arrested from Ambala.
The accused was produced before the court and remanded for two days so that he could be questioned in connection with the murder and the reasons behind the murder would also be found out.
