Two new medical vans, donated by Aster Volunteers under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Aster DM Healthcare, were inaugurated at Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir in Gandhinagar. These vans will be operated by the BAPS Public Charitable Trust.

Among the dignitaries present at the inauguration ceremony were Gujarat’s Minister of Health Rishikesh Bhai Patel, Home Minister Harsh Bhai Sanghvi, senior BAPS swamis – Nikhilesh Swami, Vishvavihari Swami, Brahmavihari Swami and Aksharvatsal Swami as well as Jalilji and representatives from Aster DM Healthcare.

(SUBHEAD)These two medical vans will provide essential healthcare services to remote tribal areas of Gujarat. Equipped with modern medical facilities, the vans will serve as mobile clinics offering primary treatment, specialist consultations, and emergency ambulance services.

Health Minister Patel said that by building a mandir in Abu Dhabi, BAPS has fostered cultural and diplomatic ties between India and the Arab nations. Inspired by this, Aster Group of Companies has donated two medical vans for Gujarat.

Aster DM Healthcare representative Jalilji conveyed gratitude to BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha for its remarkable services.

Brahmavihari Swami said that BAPS’s healthcare services include 20 hospitals and 12 mobile clinics. Dedicated BAPS volunteers have provided free medical services to over 6.7 million people. Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman, Aster Hospitals Group, has donated two fully equipped medical vans to support healthcare services in Gujarat’s remote villages. Dr. Moopen has already donated 50 such medical vans across different regions.
