Renowned Hollywood actor, director, producer Forest Steven Whitaker and his daughter, Sonnet, were warmly welcomed at the Brahma Kumaris Gamdevi centre with a bouquet and a shawl. This was followed by a sharing of spiritual teachings and practices of the Brahma Kumaris.
Whitaker had been honoured with Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, British Academy Film Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
A guided meditation was also conducted in which they were made to experience the eternal connection with the Supreme.
(SUBHEAD)Whitaker apart from his acting career, is also known for his humanitarian work and is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. Whitaker and his daughter seemed to be very touched at heart through their experience and also expressed his keenness to visit the centre in their home town, New York.
