LT. GEN. MANJINDER SINGH, ARMY COMMANDER SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND VISITS HISAR MILITARY STATION

Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander Sapta Shakti Command visited Hisar Military Station to review the operational preparedness of the DOT Division. 

He was briefed by Major General Amit Talwar, General Officer Commanding, DOT Division, on the formation’s operational aspects, niche technology infusion and capability development initiatives. 

The Army Commander commended the innovations adopted by the formation to prepare for future wars and emphasised the importance of modern technology in achieving comprehensive victory. He reviewed the training methodology and witnessed live training exercise. He appreciated the strong man-machine bond developed through rigorous training. 

He also visited the state-of-the-art Counter Drone Node, acknowledging the formation’s training and drills in countering the threat by drones. He was also briefed on the Division’s green initiatives & waste recycling practices contributing to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. 

During his interaction with officers, JCOs and OR, the Army Commander praised their dynamism, professional excellence and dedication to duty. He exhorted all ranks to continuously strive for competence, adopt latest technologies and develop analytical thinking to excel in modern warfare.
