The Special Staff/East District received information that some individuals were involved in online gambling in Guru Angad Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. It was anticipated that a raid on this online gambling operation could result in the apprehension of the suspects and their associates.
Sensing the gravity of the crime, a dedicated team of police officials from Special Staff led by Insp. Ajit Singh, comprising of SI Anil Kumar,SI Vikas kumar, ASI Satyadev Rana, ASI Neeraj, HC Naresh Pal, Hemant, HC Vichitra, HC Maninder Singh, HC Shani Kumar Rathi, HC Sanoj Kumar, HC Mukesh and Ct. Yogesh Kumarwas constituted under the close supervision of ACP/OPS Ms Nithya Radhakrishanan and overall guidance of the undersigned to nab the accused persons.
(SUBHEAD)Mr. Apoorva Gupta, IPS, DCP, East istt., said, a raid was conducted at the premises in Guru Angad Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi,where six individuals were found engaged in online gambling.Among them, Abhay Yadav was identified as the operator of this gambling racket. During the raid, the following items were recovered from their possession: four laptops, 15 mobile phones (nine used for work and six personal), 25 ATM cards, 10 passbooks, and 11 cheque books. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No.225/24 u/s 3/4 Delhi Gambling Act was registered at PS Preet Vihar.

RECOVERY:–4 Laptop, 15 Mobile (9 for work + 6 personal), 25 ATM cards, 10 Passbook, 11 Cheque books
