In the Last Man Stands India Super Series Plate Match Final, Cheshire Cats beat Auckland Warriors by 9 runs and David Hurst was declared the player of the Match for his batting performance. He knocked 30 runs off his bat in the nail-biting match.

In the Last Man Stands India Super Series Finale, Punjab Tigers beat Delhi Lions by 49 runs and Rajesh Sharma was adjudged Player of the Match for his all-round performance both with the bat & ball (17 runs & 2 wickets). Those who were awarded in the Tournament includes

Player of The Tournament: Manish Sehrawat (Punjab Tigers) 

Batsman of The Tournament: Gaurav Tomer (Delhi Lions)

Bowler of The Tournament: Parth Vashisht (Delhi Lions)

Best Wicket Keeper of The Tournament : Shivam Gupta (Delhi Lions)

Best Fielder of The Tournament: Mihir Patel (Kathiwada Kat Kings)

About the match format:

Last Man Stands (LMS) is a 2-hour, 8-a-side, T20 cricket game played globally, by approximately 1,80,000 players. AB De Villiers, is the official Global Ambassador of LMS

Last Man Stands India Super Series (Chandigarh 2024) that started from 3rd March at 2 Venues, Cricket Hub Banur and JR Institute Barwala.

(SUBHEAD)This is for the first time that Tricity hosted such a tournament for corporate players at global level with the support of SPS Realty and Royal Sportsters Private Limited.

10 International Teams from Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Johannesburg, Durban, London, Liverpool, Warwickshire, Auckland and Dhaka, and

10 Indian Teams from Chandigarh, Mohali, Punjab, Delhi, Erode, Gurgaon, Mohali, Kathiwada, Vasai, Bangalore and Jaipur participated and competed against each other to cling the coveted title.

Out of 20 teams – Punjab Tigers, Dhaka Thunder, Delhi Lions and Jaipur Dolphins made it to the Semi Final Round of this season, which was played on the 8th of March at JR Institute from 9:30 am, followed by Finals from 2pm onwards.

Sharing elation over the success of the tournament, Wayne Greeve, Co-Founder Last Man Stands, said, “We are super excited to see the atmosphere and energy of all our International and Indian Players. We loved the city Chandigarh and the hospitality. We would love to come back here again and plan much bigger tournaments in India like these with the support of Royal Sportsters team.”
