DELHI POLICE RECOVERED MALANA CREAM WORTH MORE THAN ONE CRORE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET, 3 ARRESTED

THREE ACTIVE MEMBERS OF AN INTERSTATE DRUG SYNDICATE, CARRYING A COMMERCIAL QUANTITY OF MALANA CREAM, WERE ARRESTED BY ARSC/CRIME BRANCH, IKRAM IS RUNNING THIS SYNDICATE, IN AN ORGANIZED MANNER, FOR A LONG TIME.

A team of ARSC/Crime Branch, under close supervision of ACP Arvind Kumar, has arrested three members of an interstate drug syndicate, namely Ikram, Ashok @ Lala, and Guddu. Syndicate was run by Ikram. Ashok Kumar @ Lala was the carrier of Ikram, who procured Charas from Himachal Pradesh. Guddu was the right hand to Ikram, looking after the distribution of Charas.

On 02.08.22, ASI Sachin Singh of ARSC/Crime Branch received information about one person namely Ikram, who runs an interstate drug syndicate in an organized manner is getting drugs procured from Himachal Pradesh.

The information was reduced in writing vide DD No. 3 at 8.45 AM and after compliance of Sec. 42 of NDPS Act, a trap was laid near Mukarba chowk, Outer Ring Road, Delhi. At about 10.40 AM, the secret informer identified one person, carrying a suitcase in his left hand, coming on foot towards the police party. He was overpowered at 10.45 AM. He was identified as Ashok Kumar @ Lala s/o Sh. Daya Ram r/o H No. 2146, Gali No. 10, Kailash Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Delhi age 59 years.

After due legal procedure under NDPS act, search of his suitcase was conducted. From the false cavity of the suitcase, one packet of Charas was recovered. A total 1.100 Kg of Charas was recovered. Contraband was converted into a cloth parcel marked as A. Case property was sealed and seized by the ASI Sachin Singh.

(MOREPIC2)(MOREPIC3)(MOREPIC4)Mr.Rohit Meena,  IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch-II, said during the process, Ashok Kumar @ Lala disclosed that he was working on the directions of Ikram. He called Ikram in police presence, who directed him to deliver contraband to Guddu. The police team reached Welcome pulia along with Ashok Kumar, who called him on his phone. Guddu s/o Rafiullah r/o H-7, Janta Mazdoor Colony, Welcome, Delhi age 40 years was apprehended. Notice u/s 50 NDPS Act was served to him.

No contraband was recovered from his body search. Cash Rs. 85000/-, packing material, an electronic weighing scale, and one utensil were recovered from his house. Case property was deposited into malkhana by SHO/PS Crime branch, after countersealing. After sufficient grounds for arrest, the accused were interrogated and arrested in the case.

After the arrest of the accused Ashok @ Lala on the and on the basis of technical surveillance without wasting time team reached Bharatpur, Railway station, and accused Ikram was apprehended from Bharatpur Railway station. After sufficient grounds for arrest, the accused were interrogated and arrested in the case(SUBHEAD)

It will be pertinent to mention here that Ikram is running an interstate drug syndicate in an organized manner. He has many people to run this syndicate, and perform different-different jobs, assigned by Ikram. Entire Malana Villagers know him. He is famous among them as he provides them a huge business.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: 

Accused Ashok Kumar S/O Late Sh. Daya Ram was born on 01.01.1963 at H. No. 2146 Gali No. 10 Kailash Nagar Delhi. He had three elder sisters who passed away and one younger brother who went to some unknown place after selling his house. He studied up to 12th class from Swami Dayanand Gurukul Kangdi University Haridwar Uttrakhand. He is alcoholic. But due to his habitual drinking problem, he faces health issues. He started consuming charas in the year 2018. As Charas is very expensive and he becomes addicted to it. Hence, his friend Ikram suggested him do the peddling of charas with him. He started peddling of charas from Malana Himachal Pradesh to Delhi by Road.

Guddu s/o Rafiullah age 40, was born on 03.03.1974 at H Block H. No. 07 Janta Colony Welcome Delhi. He has four elder brothers and two elder sisters and one younger sister. He is uneducated. His father died when he was 14 years. Due to his family conditions, he started selling clothes. He started smoking and consuming charas in the year 2003. Soon he became addicted to it. After COVID, his work stopped, and he faced shortage of money. One of his friends Ikram suggested the selling of charas. He started selling charas in North East Delhi.

Accused Mohammad Ikram S/O Late. Mohammad Iqbal was born on 01.01.1984 at H. No. 253 Ambedkar Chaupal Village Bahadurgarh District Hapur P.S Bahadurgarh tehsil Garhmukteshwar U.P. 245208. He has one younger brother and one younger sister. He is uneducated. Due to poverty his father along with the entire family came to Delhi and lives at E 13 C 23 J Block New Seelampur Near High Secondary School Delhi and started selling vegetables. His father died when he was 13 years old. Being the eldest in the family he started daily labor.

In 2005, he came into bad company and started smoking and consuming charas. Soon he became addicted to it. He married Salma in the year 2010 and was blessed with 3 girls. In the year 2017, he faced losses in his cloth business. After that, he purchased small quantity of charas from Mallana and sold it to North East Delhi.

Soon he found that this is a very profitable business, so he started to purchase bigger quantities of charas and sold it in Delhi NCR. Now he hired one Ashok to purchase charas from Mallana and give it to Guddu R/o Janta Colony Welcome Delhi. Guddu sells it in the area of North East district Delhi. On 02.08.2022 information was received that one Ashok has come to Delhi with charas.

On this information, Ashok was apprehended by the police party and 1.100 KG charas and a Case FIR No. 162/22 u/s 20/29 NDPS Act PS Crime Branch was registered and investigation was taken up. During the investigation, Mohammad Iqbal was also arrested. He runs a drugs racket in which he hires the person to purchase and sells Charas. He is the Mastermind of his nexus.

Further investigation is underway.
