With the arrest of notorious drug supplier Javed Khan S/O Ajaj Kha R/o – Village- Deoriyan Kalan, Teh- Bisalpur, Distt- Pilibhit, U.P. Age 27 Years, the team of NR-II, Crime Branch Delhi has culminated the search of one of the MOST WANTED drug supplier spanning over a long period of time and spread over several areas in Delhi and U.P. He was wanted in Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch in FIR No. 72/21, u/s 21/29 NDPS Act, P.S Crime Branch.
The chain of drug supply involves supplier, trafficker (sometimes called courier also) and the receiver. Those receivers further sell it to the end users.
Vichitra Veer, IPS, DCP , Crime-III, said, on the basis of information collected by SI Ravi Saini about the possible whereabout of the wanted criminal Javed, the team activated its informers in the area. With the help of information from the sources and technical surveillance, it was zeroed in that that he is currently residing in the area of Deoriyan Kalan, Pilibhit (UP).
(SUBHEAD)After confirmation of his whereabouts, a police team lead by Inspector Sandeep Singh comprising of SI Ravi Saini, HC Satyawart No. 1309/Crime, HC Nitesh No. 795/Crime, HC Mukesh Kumar No. 5732/Security, Ct. Naveen Kumar No. 864/Crime, Ct. Krishan No. 708/Crime, working under the supervision of Sh. Narender Singh, ACP/NR-II, Crime Branch, swung into action and arrested him.
As per the available information from sources and records, Javed Khan developed his own group of drug suppliers/traffickers in Bareilly and started supplying drugs all across India with the help of local suppliers.
BACKGROUND: Javed khan has been born and brought up in Pilibhit, UP. He is studied only up to 5th standard. Apart from dealing his business, he runs a timber business to give a legitimate face to his illegal activities. He used to spend a large portion of his crime proceeds on the people of his neighbourhood. Because of that, it is very difficult to trace and nab him in that neighbourhood. There have been occasions when he was tipped by the locals about the presence of police in the area and he slipped away.
