❖ 06 DESPERATE DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED❖ HUGE QUANTITY OF NARCOTICS SUBSTANCE INCLUDING 1307 GRAMS OF HEROIN WORTH ₹ 1.5 Cr IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET SEIZED.

Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Delhi Police, in a robust strategy with a clear mandate of “NASHA MUKT BHARAT ABHIYAAN”, conducted a series of meticulously planned operations across India comprising of various teams of Inspr. Harivash, Inspr. Jai Bhagwan, SIs Arvind Dangi, Ram Kishan, HCs Mahipal, Amit working under the close supervision of Anil Sharma ACP/ANTF and overall supervision Sh. Amit Goel, DCP/ANTF.
OPERATION ONE
ANTF (CRIME BRANCH) LAUNCHED OPERATIONS FOCUSING ON DRUG MENACE AMONG YOUTH IN NAND NAGRI AREA 406 GRAMS HEROIN RECOVERED FROM THE POSSESSION OF ACCUSED PERSONS, ALL 04 ARRESTED ACCUSED PERSONS HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN NDPS ACT CASES.
The team was receiving tip off regarding supply of heroin by one person namely Sunil r/o Nand Nagri. The team mounted surveillance over him and did reconnaissance of his possible routes of supply of heroin. The relentless efforts bore fruit when the team acting on information laid trap near GT Road, Mangal bazar, Dilshad Garden and apprehended one accused namely Sunil @ Tinku R/o JJ Colony, Madipur, Delhi, Present Add: Nand Nagri, Delhi, age-33 years.
A Total quantity of 362 grams of fine quality Heroin/Smack was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 269/22 u/s 21/29 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch and the investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation, sustained interrogation was carried out. Accused Sunil @ Tinku divulged regarding forward and backward linkages of drug supply in Delhi. He disclosed that he used to procure the consignment from his brother in law namely Prem @ Aakash and Vikas and sold the same in small pouches to customers in the area of Nand Nagri, Delhi.
During investigation, Prem @ Aakash Kumar, 26 years, and Vikash, 24 years, r/o Nand Nagri, Delhi were also arrested. Both the accused persons disclosed that they had procured the heroin from one Rocky and his mother Bharti.
During the further course of action, one lady namely Bharti was arrested as source in this case and 44 grams of fine quality Heroin/Smack was also recovered from her possession. She is an active BC of PS Nand Nagri. Further investigation is being carried out to nab further sources.
OPERATION 2
ANTF (CRIME BRANCH) LAUNCHED OPERATIONS FOCUSING ON DRUG MENACE PREVAILING IN YOUTH IN TRANS YAMUNA (MUSTFABAD AREA), 901 GRAMS HEROIN RECOVERED FROM THE POSSESSION OF SUPPLIER NAZRUDDIN
Regular information was being received regarding a drug syndicate operating in Trans Yamuna area of Delhi in association with Mandsaur, MP based drug cartel.
The team of ANTF did tireless job and developed the information. The names of Mandsaur based drug syndicate handler Baazi and Mustafabad based Nazaru surfaced. The team mounted technical as well as human surveillance on them.(SUBHEAD)
Finally, the efforts bore fruit when the team laid trap near GTB Hospital and apprehended the accused namely Nazruddin r/o Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Mustafabad, Delhi Age 42 yrs as supplier of illegal consignment. 301 grams of fine quality Heroin/Smack was initially seized from his possession. Accordingly, a case vide Case FIR No. 268/22 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.
Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime, said, during interrogation, accused Nazruddin was interrogated at length to unearth the forward and backward linkages of drug supply in Delhi & NCR. During police custody remand, at his instance, further 600 grams Heroin was recovered from his house. He disclosed that the source of contraband is in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. The teams raided the possible hideouts of the source in MP but he managed to escape. Further concerted efforts are being made to nab him. With the rattling of these two drug cartels, the residential pockets of trans Yamuna got the much-needed respite.
