In major breakthrough, the Chandigarh Police has succeeded to arrest three bike lifter namely Dhanvir S/o Bhim Bahadur R/o # 365 Urbane Estate Ph-01 Patiala PB Age-23 Yrs, Khusveer Singh S/o Ashok Kumar R/o # 126 and old 1891 professor colony ward no. 06 Sirhind Mandi, Fatehgarh Sahib PB Age-19 Yrs and Jashanpreet Singh S/o Balwinder Singh R/o Vill. Prem Nagar near Akalsha road Pathak Moga PB Age19 Yrs, and recovered 09 two wheelers from their instance.
The facts of the case are that on a tip of secret informer and under the directions of SDPO/Central, a Police team headed by SI Surender Kumar under the close supervision of SHO/PS-17, on the basis of Electronic surveillance and secret information three accused Dhanvir singh and Khusveer and Jashanpreet have been apprehended and after interrogation they were arrested.
During investigation case property HP18C0765 Bullet M/C and original RC have been recovered from the possession of said accused. When accused were apprehended and two M/C no. CH04-H-8358-FZ (which was used in crime) and M/C no. PB06-R-4058 were recovered from the possession of Shanvir and Jashanpreet. They could not produce any documents as well as satisfactory answer and same has been taken into 102 Cr.PC.(SUBHEAD)
During the course of further investigation three accused namely Dhanvir, Khusveer and Jashanpreet Singh were produced before Hon’ble Court and obtained 2-2 days Police remand of accused Dhanvir, Khusveer to go to out of station for investigation in Punjab area and accused Jashanpreet Singh was sent to judicial custody.
During Police remand total four more two wheelers have been recovered from tricity area, on the instance of both accused and taken into police possession through seizure Memo u/s 102Cr.P.C which are being verified.

MODUS OPERANDI: The accused persons are resident of District Sangrur, Moga, Fatehgarh Sahib PB and they are residing in Blaongi Mohali in PG. They stole the target vehicles and used to take them by road in their native village for sale. Accused persons are drugs addict and have committed such type offence for earning easy money without hard work and wanted to spend their luxuriously life as well as consuming drugs.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED DHANVIR.: Dhanvir S/o Bhim Bahadur R/o # 365 urban estate Ph-1 Patiala and # 63 Ramnagar near Railway station Sangrur PB. He has studied up to 12th class from Sangrur PB. He is residing in Deep Complex Balongi. He is drugs addict and have committed such type offence for earning easy money without hard work and wanted to spend their luxuriously life as well as consuming drugs.
KHUSVEER: Khusveer S/o Ashok Kumar R/o # 206 Aman Colony Sirhind Fatehgarh PB. He has studied up to B.A from Sirhind PB. He is residing in Deep Complex Balongi. He is drugs addict and have committed such type offence for earning easy money without hard work and wanted to spend their luxuriously life as well as consuming drugs.The investigation of the cases is in progress.
ASHANPREET: Jashanpreet S/o Balwinder Singh R/o Prem Nagar near Akalsa road fatak Moga, PB. He has studied up to 12th class from Moga PB. He is residing in Deep Complex Balongi. He is drugs addict and have committed such type offence for earning easy money without hard work and wanted to spend their luxuriously life as well as consuming drugs.The investigation of the cases is in progress.
