In its continuous efforts to eradicate the menace of drug pedaling the staff of the Anti-Narcotics Cell of outer North District has arrested 01 drug peddler and recovered 285 gms of Heroin from his possession whose market Value is around Rs 30 Lacs.
To sweep out the sale of contraband in the area of Outer North District, a dedicated team of anti-narcotics cell comprising SI Tej Singh, ASI Narender Chikara, HC Hakikat Rai, HC Narender WHC Seenu, WHC Jyoti & Ct Rinku headed by Insp. Umesh Sharma I/C ANC/OND under the supervision of Sh. Yashpal Singh, ACP/Operations was constituted to nab people dealing in Narcotic substances in the area of outer North District.(SUBHEAD)
Mr. Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Outer North District said, on secret information received by Narcotics Cell staff of Outer North District, a raid was conducted at Sec-A-5 Narela. During the raid, one Zakir Husain r/o Narela Delhi, Age 52 yrs was apprehended at his house with 282 grams of heroin in his possession. A case vide FIR No 433/23 U/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Narela. Investigation of the case is in progress.
