In a remarkable feat of medical expertise, the lives of a pregnant woman and her baby were saved in a perilous situation at Dr. SS Tantia Medical College Hospital and Research Center (Jan Sewa Hospital) located on Sriganganagar-Hanumangarh Road in the premises of Tantia University Campus. The woman, identified as Sita, had endured two agonizing days at another hospital, where the delivery was unsuccessful as the baby got stuck in the uterus.

Under the vigilant care of expert gynaecologist and obstetrician, Dr. Jyoti Chhabra, the critical condition of the duo was assessed upon arrival at Jan Sewa Hospital. A major operation was swiftly conducted to ensure a safe birth. During the procedure, it was discovered that the uterus had weakened due to prolonged suffering and was at risk of busting. Any delay in the operation could have jeopardized their lives.

Thanks to the immediate intervention and surgical skills of Dr. Jyoti Chhabra, a successful caesarean section was performed. A healthy baby weighing 2.8 kg was born, bringing immense relief to the family. Both mother and child are now in good health.

The successful operation was made possible by the collaboration and dedication of the medical team, including the anaesthesiologist, Dr. Neeraj, and the invaluable support of staff members Mamta and Veena.
