HISTORY SHEETER OF PS NARELA ACCUSED PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 05 CRIMINAL CASES

A team of ARSC/Crime Branch has arrested a desperate criminal Karan Singh @ Rahul, 23 years, R/o Swaroop Nagar, Delhi. He was wanted in the gang rape of a minor girl in case FIR No. 446/2023, U/s 342/363/376D/377/34 IPC & 4 POCSO Act, PS Swaroop Nagar, Delhi. He is also history sheeter of PS Narela, Delhi and previously involved in 05 criminal cases.
Victim alleged that on 23.06.2023, she was physically and sexually assaulted by her two known persons Mohd. Miraj @ Paatal and a juvenile. After that when she was returning to her home, her maternal uncle met her and she narrated all the incident to him. Her Uncle asked her to go home with Karan @ Rahul and a juvenile on his scooty. They took her to the room of Kamal Singh @ Pahari, where they all three also raped her. In this regard, case FIR No. 446/2023, U/s 342/362/376D/377/34 IPC & 4 POCSO Act, PS Swaroop Nagar, Delhi was registered.
(SUBHEAD)Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police Crime, said, during investigation, three accused were arrested and another two accused Karan @ Rahul and Kamal Singh @ Pahari, managed to escape. Hence, NBWs were issued against both the accused by the Hon’ble Court.
To nab the above accused persons, HC Gaurav developed manual intelligence and mounted technical surveillance. Sincere and dedicated efforts of HC Gaurav lead to inputs that accused Karan Singh @ Rahul is now hiding in the area of Kishni Block, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. His specific location was traced.
Accordingly, a team led by Insp Mangesh Tyagi and Insp Robin Tyagi comprising SI Manish Yadav, ASI Baljeet, HC Gaurav, HC Sawai, HC Pawan and HC Ankit under the supervision of ACP Arvind Kumar was constituted by Joint CP S.D. Mishra & DCP Amit Goel to nab the criminal. The team conducted raid in village Makrandpur, Kishni Block, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh and successfully apprehended the accused Karan Singh @ Rahul.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Karan Singh @ Rahul, 23 years, R/o Swaroop Nagar, Delhi is a school dropout and indulged in criminal activities. He is an active history sheeter of PS Narela, Delhi. He was previously involved in 05 other cases of attempt to murder, snatching, burglary and arms act.
