“SADHUWALI TO SARHAD” TIRANGA YATRA ORGANISED

“Sadhuwali to Sarhad” Tiranga Yatra was organized as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Hundreds of people participated in the yatra that was led by Panchayat Samiti Director Dr Brijmohan Saharan.

(MOREPIC1)(SUBHEAD) The march from Sadhuwali village to the international border was flagged off by former Zila Parishad chief Sitaram Maurya outside the Bishnoi Mandir in Sadhuwali. In the march, patriotic songs were playing on the DJ. BJP leaders Dr Brijmohan Saharan, Vinod Limba, Jasmat Channi, Narendra Sahu, Ratan Ganeshgarhia, Harjinder Singh Bhullar were participating in an open jeep. Behind them were hundreds of participants carrying tricolor flags on motorcycles in large numbers. Villagers showered flowers at Kalia, Khat Labana, Fatuhi and Dullapur Keri village on the way of the about 35 km-march.

The participants raised patriotic slogans. At around 12:30 pm, the yatra turned into a general meeting on reaching Hindumalkot.

Dr. Saharan inspired people to work in the interest of the country and play an active role in preventing drug smuggling from across the international border. The leaders presented sweets to BSF officers, congratulated them on Independence Day. Food packets were distributed to all those who joined in the yatra.
