Army operation rescue civilians begins in Shimka, Anandpur Sahib, Nangal, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur on Thursday. Army deployed five Engineering secs and Coln at Shimla, where One Civilian evacuated till now. One Coln at Anandpur Sahib and Nangal., One rescue party proceeding for Vill Harsabela/Rupnagar.
Coln at Thakurdwara/ Indora has deinducted, where 92 civilians evacuated by this coln.
Coln at Vill Bela Thakra/ Fatehpur. 10 Civilian evacuated till now
Two colns launched in Gen A Bholath/ Kapurthala (incl one coln launched in evevening)- 158 civilians evacucated till now.
One coln launched in evening yesterday in Gen A Dauwal/ Gurdaspur. 55 civilians evacuated till now.
Colns on standby for Dist Amritsar and Sultanpur Lodhi/ Kapurthala. Operations under Western Command continue.
