CALL TO MEDIA TO BECOME A PARTNER IN ESTABLISHING PEACE IN THE WORLD

In the valedictory session of the five-day National Media Conference organized by the Media Wing of Brahma Kumaris organisation at Shantivan, Abu Road, in the resolution supported by hundreds of media persons from various states of India and Nepal, it was said that the duty of the media is only to transmit information/news but it is also the responsibility to understand ourselves and work towards establishing a balance of moral values to establish peace in the world.
The resolution presented in the session said that the objective of the media is to fulfill the information needs of the nation and society as well as to play the role of a strong watchdog in bringing harmonyin the country, society and communities. It was said that the media wing of Brahma Kumaris should continue to make positive efforts towards meaningfully supporting and empowering the media personsin fulfilling the objective of love, peace-based journalism for global harmony.
(SUBHEAD)Supporting the resolution, it was said that taking inspiration from the high-level success of the G-20 summit hosted by India and the universal opinion of the world, we should cooperate in moving towards peace globally through India.
The speakers were of the view that the main objective of Brahma Kumaris is to provide Rajyoga based education and strengthen the media personnel spiritually. We should cooperate in this so that we can become partners in the welfare, happiness, prosperity and development of the society.
Apart from internationally renowned motivational speaker Shivani Behan, those who addressed the conference included Education Wing chairperson Bhai, Chairman of the Education Division of the organization, Prof. Maan Singh Parmar, MP Kuldeep Rai Sharma, National Coordinator of the division Sarla Behan, Y. of Hyderabad. Bavji, Dr. Kamlesh Meena, Dr. Mahadev Swami, Omvir Singh Saini, Radio Sangam Managing Director Ashish Gupta etc. were included. The artists won the applause of the audience by presenting a group dance.
