Raj Sadosh/Suratgarh/Abohar.
A military weapon, equipment and band display under the theme “Know Your Army” for the students of APS, KV & other schools were organised at Suratgarh Military Station by the Indian Army, wherein a wide array of Infantry weapons, equipment, Armoured Tanks, Mechanised BMPs and Artillery guns were put on display.
Highlights of the event were a Military Band display, Motivational talk by a Young Army Officer sharing his experience with the School Students, a Demonstration of an Infantry assault on an enemy bunker & equipment display.
The event was well received by the school students and their excitement was quite palpable. The aim of the event was to motivate the children to pursue Army as a career option and also to create awareness amongst them about the various schemes of enrolling themselves in the Army.
