• Operations carried out by the teams of Central Range and Cyber Cell of Crime Branch in different parts of Delhi to detect the ‘Killer’ Chinese Manjha• Total 12143 Rolls of Chinese Manjha recovered in such operations.• Three cases have been registered and 4 Accused persons have been arrested.

During multiple operations launched by the team of Inspr. Sunil Bhardwaj and Insp. Sunil Kumar Kalkhande of Central Range and Insp Virender Kumar, Cyber Cell under the supervision of Sh. Pankaj Arora, ACP/Central Range and Sh. Pawan Kumar ACP Cyber Cell, Crime Branch and close supervisions of Sh. Rakesh Paweriya, DCP/Crime-II, Delhi, a big stock (12143 Rolls) of Chinese Manjha has been detected and seized from the different parts of Delhi. Four accused persons have been arrested in three cases registered at PS Crime Branch.
OPERATIONS:- Shalini Singh, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch,Delhi.A team of Inspr. Sunil Bhardwaj, Central Range, Crime Branch comprising of SI Daizy Dagar, ASI Umesh Kumar, HC Sandeep Dahiya, HC Harinder Kumar HC Raj Prakash and HC Prem Prakash carried out an operation and laid a trap in Rohini area on the basis of received input around the stock of ‘Chinese Manjha’.
During operation, a shop and godown was raid in Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi where 11820 Rolls of Chinese Manjha have been recovered. A case was registered at PS Crime in this case and the shopkeeper was arrested.
In further course of investigation, one more accused Adnan was also arrested and 23 Rolls were also recovered from his possession.
(SUBHEAD)In second Operation, a team of Inspr. Sunil Kumar Kalkhande comprising of SI Subhash Chand, HC Vijay Singh, HC Raushan Kumar, HC Praveen Kumar and HC Mukesh Kumar conducted a raid the area of PS Daryaganj and apprehended one Mohd. Akib, a resident of Moona Nagar, Bhajanpura, Delhi and recovered 240 Rolls of Chinese Manjha from his possession. A fresh case was registered and he was arrested in this case.
In a similar exercise, a team of Insp Virender Kumar comprising of SI Satwant , ASI Sanjay, HC Pranaam and Ct Ravi also carried out an operation and apprehended one Asjad, a resident of Azad Market, Delhi and recovered 60 Rolls of Chinese Manjha from his possession. A case was registered by Cyber Cell Crime Branch and he was arrested in the case.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Prem Chand is 40 year old. He is a permanent resident of District Hardoi,UP. He is a primary school dropout. He has three school going children and owns a kite and stationary shop in sector -7 Rohini.
Accused Asjad disclosed that he is 2nd year student of BA Program, School of Open Learning, Delhi University and side by side he is also working as Website Designer at Preedex Software LLP at Azad Market, Delhi. He purchased the recovered Chinese Manjha from one person Islam r/o Kolkata, West Bengal through Whatsapp.He was selling manjha in order to earn quick money. Efforts are being made to trace the source of the illicit manjha.

Further investigation is on to connect other culprits in the chain of crime.
