This act of tying Rakhi, traditionally a thread tied by sisters to their brothers, was especially meaningful as it was extended to the soldiers who are seen as the guardians of the nation.
The school principal, Mrs Aditi, who accompanied the students, remarked, “This event was organized to instil a sense of patriotism and respect for our soldiers in the hearts of our students. We are proud to have this opportunity to connect with our brave soldiers and to show them that their efforts are deeply appreciated.”
