In a heartfelt gesture of respect and gratitude, school girls from Aditi Silver Bells School celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying Rakhi to soldiers at Konark War Memorial, Jodhpur on Friday.

(SUBHEAD)The highlight of the event was the Raksha Bandhan ceremony, where the young girls tied Rakhi to the soldiers, symbolizing the protective bond between them. This act of tying Rakhi, traditionally a thread tied by sisters to their brothers, was especially meaningful as it was extended to the soldiers who are seen as the guardians of the nation.

The school principal, Mrs Aditi, who accompanied the students, remarked, “This event was organized to instil a sense of patriotism and respect for our soldiers in the hearts of our students. We are proud to have this opportunity to connect with our brave soldiers and to show them that their efforts are deeply appreciated.”

The event also featured an interactive session where soldiers shared their experiences, inspiring the students with their tails of courage and commitment to the nation. The day concluded with a group photo with the students and soldiers, capturing the spirit of unity and patriotism
