The 17th death anniversary of Dadi Prakashmani, former chief of Brahma Kumaris, is being celebrated as the “Universal Brotherhood Day”. As a part of this, a blood donation camp was organised at Shantivan, the headquarters of Brahma Kumaris.
605 Brahma Kumar brothers and sisters from across the country donated blood in this camp. Patanjali Ayurveda's Acharya Balkrishna Maharaj, said that blood donation is the biggest virtuous act. Young people who are healthy should definitely donate blood. If every person resolves to donate blood, then lakhs of deaths due to lack of blood can be avoided. He said that the services of Brahma Kumaris organisation are very commendable.
