Devotional celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival was organized at Swaminarayan Akshardham, Delhi. This year this festival was celebrated in the holy presence of the Chief of the BAPS organization, most Revered Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj.
The gathering was graced by hundreds of devotees. Children and youth volunteers of the organization presented a dramatic version of the Leela saga of Lord Shri Krishna. The saints praised the glory of Shri Krishna.
(SUBHEAD)In his blessings, Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj said that today is the birthday of Lord Shri Krishna. They are the bearers of religion and culture. Lord Swaminarayan has inspired everyone by mentioning the characters of Lord Shri Krishna in Vachnamrut.
Lord Krishna taught us humility through his life. Lord Shri Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita that I appear in every age. God and good men never depart from the earth.”
After this, all the devotees had a beautiful darshan of the child form of Shri Krishna sitting in the carousel.
