In the 120th episode of 'Meet the Author' and Srijan Shikshak Samman Samaroh organized by Srijan Seva Sansthan, three teachers were honoured on Sunday.
(MOREPIC1) One of them, Dr. Sandesh Tyagi said that the thinking, inspiration and directions of his father have developed his personality. He recited some of her poems which were well appreciated by the audience.
Dr. Meenu Poonia, Principal of DAV College, said that it is good that literary activities are organised well in Sriganganagar. The talents here are writing well. This is where we get opportunities and are able to move forward.
Sushma Gupta, Senior teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Chak 5KK village, said that she feels very happy to find herself as a teacher among children. If she is able to discharge her duties properly, then it is a matter of satisfaction for her.
Srijan President Dr. Arun Shaharia 'Tair' welcomed the audience and said that today the 'Meet the Writer' program has completed ten years. Secretary Dr. Krishan Kumar 'Ashu' was overwhelmed and said that cooperation of well-wishers should continue to “Srijan” whether we live or not.
Meenakshi Ahuja, Chittarlekha Sharma, Dr. Vishal Chhabra, Vijay Kumar Goyal, Dwarka Prasad Nagpal, Harvinder Singh, Nirmala Shaharia, Dr. Babita Kajal, Jatinder Kaur, Meenakshi Ahuja, Shashikanta Saharan and Ritu Singh were also present. Surinder Sundaram expressed gratitude, and poet Arun 'Urmesh' conducted the stage.
