The 264-Km Ultra Marathon, based on the theme “Run for Martyrs, Remembering the Fallen,” was flagged off by Lt Gen Harbinder Singh Vandra, Chief of Staff, South Western Command from Prerna Sthal in Jaipur. This ultra-marathon was organized to commemorate the 264th Army Service Corps Day as a tribute to the courage and sacrifice of India’s brave hearts.
The ultra-marathon, spanning a challenging distance of 264 Km, symbolizes the 264 years of the Army Service Corps' glorious service to the nation. The marathon started from Jaipur and followed a route that took participants through Chandwaji, Paota, Behror, Bawal, and Panchgaon, before concluding at the iconic War Memorial in Delhi on December 7. It will be flagged in by Lt Gen Preet Mohinder Singh, DGST, marking the end of this historic journey.
