LONGOWAL POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE BLOOD DONATION CAMP, 68 UNITS COLLECTED

Longowal Polytechnic College and WC Industrial Training Institute Dera Bassi in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad and Rotary Club Chandigarh organized the 14th blood donation camp at the college campus.

College Principal Roji Katyal, while thanking the members of Rotary Club Chandigarh and Bharat Vikas Parishad, informed that 68 units of blood were collected during the blood donation camp organized jointly on the campus of Longowal College. SMO of Civil Hospital Dera Bassi Dr. Dharminder Singh was the chief guest and Longowal College Chairman Kanta Katyal and Vice Chairman Kapil Katyal attended as special guests.

(SUBHEAD)68 units of blood were collected by Dr. Manish Rai and his team of Rotary and Blood Bank Sector 37 Chandigarh. Vice Chairman Kapil Katyal encouraged the blood donors and said that while donating blood can save the life of someone else, donating blood also injects new blood into the person's own body. Which brings agility and vitality to the body. He also appealed to all of them to donate blood from time to time.

On this occasion, Bharat Vikas Parishad , Assistant Governor Rotarian Jaspal Singh Sidhu, Chandigarh Rotary Club President Rotarian Jatinder Kapoor, Bharat Vikas President Surinder Arora, Secretary Hatinder Mohan Sharma, Rotarian Arun Agarwal, Rotarian Anil Chadha, Vishal Sharma, Project Chairman Barkha Ram, Dr. Ashish Garg, Harinder Kaur Nursing Sister, Rajneesh Sharma, Naresh Malhotra, Jagdish Chandra Malhotra, Somnath Sharma, Krishan Lal Upneja, Rajni Chadha, Captain Brij Mahajan, Sanjeev Sethi and a large number of students were present.
