FIRST MIXED MASTERS GOLF TOURNAMENT ORGANISED

Founders of Rajasthan women golfing group ' Fairway Quest ' and former women of Defence Forces organised the first Mixed Masters Golf Tournament in Jaipur to commemorate International Women's Day. 

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command honoured the dignitaries by presenting 3 prestigious memorial rolling trophies introduced this year, namely, Late Group Captain Sanjay Dhankhar Memorial Trophy, Overall Winner Men, Mamta Mishra Memorial Trophy, Overall Winner Women category and Wing Commander Late Prithvi Singh Chauhan Memorial Trophy, Winner 10 – 18 Handicap category. 

(SUBHEAD)The Commander motivated the women golfers and congratulated the founders of Fairway Quest. Flight Lieutenant Dr. Arpita Sharma, President, Diana Kaushik, Secretary and Rupali Tanwar wished them many more golfing tournaments especially for women and child golfers. 

Lt Col Rakesh Lamba and Manisha Singh emerged as the overall winners in the men's and women's categories, while Col Sher Singh Rathore was the winner in the 10 – 18 handicap category. Shubhra was the winner of the women's Stableford category. Praveen Mishra and Group Captain SK Aggarwal (Retd) were the winners in other categories.

Colonel Harish Khangarot (Retd) was the overall gross runner up. Major Sandeep Siwach (Retd) and Neelam Singh won the longest drive in the men's and women's category.
