CHANDIGARH POLICE SOLVED BLIND MURDER CASE, TWO LABOURERES ARRESTED

On 19.09.17 at about 6.37 AM, an information was received that one person is lying in unconscious condition in the forest area back side Gurudwara Sector 38 West, Chandigarh. On this information police party reached on the spot. Statement of Jai Parkash S/o Shiv Adhar Mishra R/o C/o Raj House No. 302, Sec-39 West, Mohali (PB) was recorded and he stated that he is working at a shop situated at Shahpur colony Chandigarh and mostly he is staying at the said shop.

On 19.9.17, at about 6.30 AM he was going to forest area towards Gurudwara Sec-38 West, Chandigarh, he saw that one Sikh person was lying in the forest area and grievous injuries were found on his forehead and head. Some unknown person attacked on the said person with rods etc and murdered the said person.

During the investigation the deceased person identified as Bhupinder Singh S/o Mewa Singh R/o Vill-Milakpur Tapprian, Distt-Mohali (PB) age about 45 Yrs who was working as labourer on a site of undergoing construction sports complex in Sector 38 West, Chandigarh.

On a secret information, on 27.09.17 accused Munna Ram S/o Janak Dhari Ram R/o Vill. Paharpur PS-Sahibganj Distt. Mujjfarpur (Bihar) & Jagran S/o Ghanshu R/o Vill. Timra PS. Karran Distt. Khurti (Jharkhand) were arrested from near railway station turn Vill. Daria, Chandigarh at 9.30 PM.

During the interrogation accused Jagran disclosed that he was working as Chowkidar from last 1 year & Munna Ram disclosed that he was working as tile Mistri at under construction sports compex back side Gurudwara Sector 38 West Chandigarh.

On the day of incidents deceased Bhupinder Singh finished his job and went to his home. i.e. Vill.-Milakpur Tapprian, Distt-Mohali Pb. thereafter, he returned to the site at Sector 38 West. Thereafter, he met with accused Munna & Jagran and they all consumed alcohol together. After consuming the alcohol deceased Bhupinder Singh insisted to stay on the site and Chowkidar Jagran & Munna objected to it. On this issue, they had a quarrel among themselves, both the accused attacked upon the deceased with iron rods & pipes. Due to this Bhupinder Singh died. 

Both the accused fled away from the spot in the morning dated 19.09.17 to Jallandhar where they were working as labourer on a construction site and yesterday they returned to Chandigarh to take their belonging and were ready to fled at their natives villages in Jharkhand & Bihar.
