At the 10th camp organised by Apna Abohar, Apni Abha, MLA Sandeep Jakhar and his team took another creative project under the cleanliness and environment beautification campaign.

(MOREPIC1)  They assembled outside the State Bank of India main branch office on the Bus Stand Road. Sidewalls were given a coat of Snowcem paint and then an enamel paint layer was applied to tyres. With the aim of making the city clean and green, the team planted ornamental saplings on the roadside and affixed the tyres as tree guards.

The team then reached Nanak Nagri to honour the residents who had voluntarily removed all the garbage and other waste after organising a Jagran last night. The MLA said, “There has been a lot of improvement in the city in terms of cleanliness. Due to awareness spread by the cleanliness campaign people have started cleaning the premises voluntarily after the functions were concluded. Single-use plastic material needs to be shunned”.
