Another explosion occurred near the Golden Temple in Amritsar on late night on Wednesday. The sound of explosions was heard late at night. A team of police, forensics and National Investigating Agency (NIA), have joined investigations.
DGP Gaurav Yadav has confirmed that five accused responsible for blast have been apprehended.
First bomb blast was done last Saturday in the Heritage Street area of Amritsar. Due to this blast, 4-5 people were also injured. The windows of nearby houses were also broken. About 32 hours later, the second blast took place at around 6:30 am on Monday morning. The third blast took place around 12:15 pm on Thursday night. Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib manager Vikramjit Singh said that the blast took place near the back corridor of Sri Guru Ramdas Saran.
It is alleged that three low-intensity blasts took place around the Golden Temple in Amritsar in 5 days, which the police have solved. 5 people associated with the new local terror network have been arrested. The bombers were novices and their aim was to create an atmosphere of unrest in Punjab by detonating around the Golden Temple.

The explosions were being investigated from every angle. Initially, the police were engaged in investigating these explosions from terrorist attack, mischief of mischievous elements or personal reasons keeping in mind all three facts.
