Sujawal Jagga, son of a teacher-couple, has brought laurels to his parents and small town by securing 84th rank in civil services exam.

Last year he had secured seventh rank in general category across Punjab in the PCS-Mains exam and was at present under training for posting. “My goal was to qualify for the civil services exam and I have achieved the same today, he said.

A total of 685 candidates – 508 men and 177 women – have qualified and their names were recommended by the Commission for appointment to various central services.

After clearing CA, I got an opportunity to go on tour to Brazil and Japan, where I also gained a lot of experience, Sujawal said.
