President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, who is also a former MP of Rajya Sabha, and an ex – Punjab Minister visited Hospital and Institute of Integrated Medical Sciences (HIIMS), which has a focus on Ayurveda treatment and also takes into cognisance other medical treatment systems. Dhindsa came to HIIMS located in Dera Bassi near Chandigarh for a medical checkup .
86-year-old, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa who has been suffering from several age related issues went to the hospital to seek medical attention. Notably, Dhindsa sought the Ayurveda help after learning about HIIMS from a lot of people, who have received tremendous health benefits from the nature cure protocols heralded by Ayurveda at the hospital.
Dhindsa discussed his health problems with renowned Ayurveda and Meditation Guru – Acharya Manish and Dr. Amar Singh Azad who are also the founders of HIIMS hospital. Dr Suyash Pratap Singh and Dr Anu Bhardwaj were also present at the occasion. It is imperative to mention that Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Dr. Awadhesh Pandey, and Dr. Khadar Valli, are also associated with HIIMS. (SUBHEAD)
Acharya Manish said, “After screening the test reports, Dr Azad and I have initiated Mr Dhindsa’s treatment and given him medicines. Special care would be provided to the veteran and respected political leader of Punjab with a holistic approach to get him benefits at the level of mental (manas) and physical (kaya) as suggested in Ayurveda.”
During the medical consultation with doctors, Dhindsa was apprised about efforts made by Acharya Manish to promote Ayurveda and functioning of HIIMS hospital. Dhindsa was informed that HIIMS provides cure based on a judicious combination of different medical systems like Ayurveda, naturopathy, homeopathy and even allopathy etc under one roof.
Learning the facts, Dhindsa assured Acharya Manish of all possible help to promote Ayurveda among the people of Punjab so that they could take benefit of it in their lives.
It’s noteworthy that HIIMS, an integrated multi-speciality hospital, is the first hospital in India 'with a focus on Ayurveda' to get the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers).
