DEV SAMAJ COLLEGE OF EDUCATION HOLDS 41ST ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION

Dev Samaj College of Education (DSCE)organized the 41st Annual Prize Distribution Function at its college premises in Sector 36 Chandigarh here. The felicitation ceremony commenced with a “Tree Plantation Drive” by the Chief Guest – Amardeep Singh Rai, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP-Traffic) Punjab. 

Dr. Agnese Dhillion, Principal, Dev Samaj College of Education along with Chief Guest awarded as many as 180 students of B.Ed , M.Ed, PGDGC & PGDFCG. Medals were awarded to University Toppers. The students were felicitated with medals and mementos for their outstanding performances in different areas like academics, sports, NSS, Youth Festival and Best Student Awards from each course.

Dr. Richa Sharma, Dean of Outreach programmes presented a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the achievements and accolades of the college. Speaking on the occasion, Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, Secretary Dev Samaj & Chairman, DSCE emphasized on the significance of education in uplifting in the life of the person. He also enlightened the audience with his worthy thoughts on the education process and blessed the students for their present and future endeavors.

The college's annual magazine ‘Divya Deepti’ was also released by Chief Guest Amardeep Singh Rai during the event. The function proceeded with the felicitation ceremony of the students for their achievements under various categories of both curricular and co- curricular activities.(SUBHEAD)

Chief Guest, Amardeep Singh Rai appreciated the philosophy of Dev Samaj Society and further emphasized on the role of moral values in strengthening the teaching-learning process. He underlined that the rise of the soul is only possible through the process of education.

Special Guests of the occasion were Dr. Meena Chopra, Principal Dev Samaj College for Women, Jaspal Kaur, Financial advisor, Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45, Chandigarh and Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat, Principal I.S. Dev Samaj School, Sector 21, Chandigarh.
