GAMC STUDENT WINS AWARD IN GLOBAL DECLAMATION

Mehak Sharma, a BA 2nd year student, who represented Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar has won the award in the declamation competition that was organised by the Gandhian Society, USA.

College principal Dr Rekha Sood Handa said that Mehak proved her talent by presenting her views on the subject of Gandhiji's ideology, his legacy and his influence through her impressive oratory skills and philosophical ideology and received the incentive award.

Secretary of National Youth Project Ram Singh Parmar and Gurcharan Singh said that about 1500 students from different countries participated in this competition.

The Principal said that it is a matter of great joy and pride for us. Such an important achievement of the college student at the global platform is a proof of the fact that today daughters are not behind sons in any work, they cannot be underestimated.
