Theatre artist Vikas Batra has been honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award for his valuable contribution to theatre and films.
(SUBHEAD)Batra was honoured by Shri Mahashakti Kala Mandir during the All India Drama Competition held in Barnala. He has been associated with theatre as an amateur artist since his school/college days, but with the passage of time it became his passion. During his journey in theatre, he won many awards across the country on the basis of his art and direction and made Abohar's name shine all over India.
Serving as Food and Civil Supplies officer, after giving time to his profession and family, Batra has now started appearing in films along with theatre. Recently, he is seen in an important role in the film 'Gurmukh' released on Cable-1 OTT and many channels.
Batra says that he initially took this field as a hobby but theatre and films have become part of his soul now.
