ANJALI SHARMA AND TANNU GULIA FROM ROHTAK WIN GOLD MEDALS AT THE INDO-NEPAL INTERNATIONAL GAMES HELD IN NEPAL.

The first Indo-Nepal Championship, organized by the Indian Sports and Education Federation (ISEF), was held in Pokhara, Nepal, from December 30, 2025, to January 3, 2026. Players from various states and districts of India and Nepal participated in this international competition.

Meanwhile, Anjali Sharma from Rohtak won a gold medal in the U-17 800-meter race, and Tannu Gulia won a gold medal in the U-19 400-meter race. The athletes said, “We are extremely happy today that we got the opportunity to represent India in international games and won gold medals.” They added, “We had been practicing at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Rohtak for the past several years, and today our hard work has paid off.”

The athletes credited their coaches and parents for this victory. The parents blessed the players and encouraged them to continue striving for greater achievements.
